The campaign comes at a time when we are poised to grow the Center in ways that will enable us to meet the increasing needs of those we serve." -Center Director Mary Jo Kreitzer Graduate Programs Courses Mindfulness Online Learning Around the Center CSPH 5601 - Music, Health and Healing This class is an in depth exploration of the use of music in medicine, including music therapy, music medicine, and music psychotherapy practices, techniques and interventions; explication of hypotheses and rationale related to interventions; and exploration of related research. Integrative Health and Medicine Specialization on Coursera The Center recenctly l aunched an Integrative Health and Medicine Specialization on Coursera. This Specialization is designed for healthcare professionals and explores integrative healing through five classes, including Introduction to Integrative Therapies and Healing Practices, Guided Imagery, Herbal Medicine, Aromatherapy: Clinical Use of Essential Oils, and Mindfulness in Integrative Healthcare. The research team at the Center is headed to the International Forum for Back and Neck Pain Research in Primary Care Researchers at the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing have had six abstracts accepted for presentation at the 2019 International Forum for Back and Neck Pain Research in Primary Care; the team will head to the forum in Quebec in July.
